Wei Wu Wei roughly translated means "Action without action". While we're not hardcore raiders anymore (although many of us have been in the past) we still put in enough time and effort to let us stay at the top of the game while maintaining a friendly and understanding atmosphere.
We raid whatever's current content three times a week (Thurs - Sat - Mon) from 20:00 - 23:00 server. Currently this means we're progressing through Mythic Hellfire Citadel on raid nights, with 11/13 bosses down. We're always interested in recruiting people of a similar mindset to us to expand and shore up our raid team. If you're interested in joining us you can register on the forums and throw up an application, or grab an officer in game for a chat.
Yes, that's a video of Gorefiend, not Socrethar. Inkeeping with the oldest traditions of all guilds with websites everywhere, I may have forgotten to put up a post when we killed Gorefiend on mythic. Also when we got Iskar, although in my defence that took us all of about 2 pulls, in comparison to the 45 or so we spend on Gorefiend and so felt like slightly less of an epic achievemnt. However, we got Socrethar down yesterday which takes us to a nice clean 8/13M, which is nice as it leaves us with only 5 more bosses to kill before we can smugly claim that we've beaten the game, again, until Legion comes out. This also means I only have maybe four more posts about boss kills that I can forget to make before we kill Archi, which is good.
As always, big thanks to the brave few who have either joined us through the group finder or become more long term friends with us as we continue to push through the instance, as well as to all our fine raiders who have put the time and effort in to everything we've achieved so far, especially to Grend, for guiding, reminding and cajoling everyone into position and out of the fire.
So despite everyone's best efforts to socialise with their families over the festive period we've still managed to get to 5/13 Mythic HFC, with the help of various friends and the awesome Dragon Slayers Guild members who have been working through mythic with us. We've had a good time learning the fights and while I'm still not a fan of Mythic being fixed at 20 people the kills we've got so far have been immensely satisfying.
While the holiday period hasn't been great for making progress it has at least given us time to get the new site up and running after some technical issues that afflicted it in the run up to the holidays, and while I'm not promising anything there might be a matching forum theme in the works as well.
Finally I'd like to offer a warm welcome to all those who have joined us recently and let us transition smoothly from heroic into mythic.
